Alberade de was born about 0930 in of,,Lorraine,France.1   Alberade de's father was Gilbert Duke of Lorraine and her mother was Gerberga of Saxony.  Her paternal grandparents were Rainer (Reignier) DukeI of Lorraine and Hersent of France; her maternal grandparents were Henry I "The Fowler" King of Germany and Countess Matilda Ringelheim. She had a brother and two sisters, named Henri, Duke of, Gerberga of and Wiltrude, Duchess of.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Lothair Carolingien, King of, Carloman Prince of, Louis Prince of, Charles I le Gros, Duke of, Henri Prince of, Conan I Duke Of, Martin, Seigneur of Vitre, Meen Seigneur of Fougeres, Mathilde Princess Of, Hildegard Princess of, Alberade Princess Of and Hildegardin, Princess of France, Countess of.  She died in Burgandy,Fr.1
