Maud was born about 1319 in Foxholl,Staffordshire,England.1 Maud's father was Robert d'Holland and her mother was Maud la Zouche. Her paternal grandparents were Robert d'Holland and Elizabeth de Samlesbury; her maternal grandparents were Alan la Zouche and Eleanor de Segrave.
