Agnes De was born in 1141 in Mons,Hainault,Belgium.  Agnes De's father was Baudouin IV Le Batisseur Hainault and her mother was Alix Alice De Namur.  Her paternal grandparents were Baudouin III Count Hainault and Yolande de Guelders; her maternal grandparents were Godfrey I, Count of NAMUR and Ermisende De Luxembourg. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Baldwin V (Viii)Hainaut, Baudouin VIII Compte De, Laurette De, Yolande, Isabeau De and Ade De.  She died at the age of 27 in 1168.1
