Frances Malinda was born on July 16th, 1865 in AL.1 Frances Malinda's father was Samuel Spradley and her mother was Martha Thrower. Her paternal grandparents were Bryant A. Spradley and Frances Payne. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James J., William, Jefferson Davis, Samuel Thomas, Mary Elizabeth M., Martha Jane and Alabama Hawkins.
