Isaac Grimes

Isaac was born in 1799.¹   Isaac's father was James Grimes and his mother was Sarah Winders.  His paternal grandparents were Hugh Grimes and Elizabeth Whitehead; his maternal grandfather was John Winders. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Lewis, James, Jr., William, John, Thomas, Stephen, Bryan, daughter, daughter, daughter and daughter.  He was the second youngest of the twelve children.
