Henry Evans was born on October 27th, 1857 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Henry Evans' father was Asa Oliver Culver and his mother was Nancy Jane Pody. His paternal grandparents were Nathan A., Jr. Culver and Nacy J. Rayfield; his maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Pody and Nancy Dudley. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Perry Dudley, Nathan Andrew, George Pierce, William Grier, Oliver Tatner, Sarah A., Mary Adeline and Nancy Emily. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on August 14th, 1940 in Chilton Co., AL. He was buried in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery, Chilton Co. AL.1 1 -
