John Charles Warren was born on October 11th, 1830 in Bertie Co., NC.1 John Charles Warren's father was John Hardy Cobb and his mother was Harriet W. Castellaw. His paternal grandparents were John Cobb and Sarah Capehart; his maternal grandparents were John Dawson Castellaw and Zilpha Spruill. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Alexander, Leonard Decatur, William Thomas, Monroe Clinton, Simon Amherst, Robert Davis, Sarah Frances, Zilphia, Mourning Adeline and Harriet Ann Justina. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 83 on June 25th, 1914 in ?.1 -
