Samuel Alexander Cobb 
Samuel Alexander was born in 1824 in Bertie Co., NC.1 Samuel Alexander's father was John Hardy Cobb and his mother was Harriet W. Castellaw. His paternal grandparents were John Cobb and Sarah Capehart; his maternal grandparents were John Dawson Castellaw and Zilpha Spruill. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Leonard Decatur, John Charles Warren, William Thomas, Monroe Clinton, Simon Amherst, Robert Davis, Sarah Frances, Zilphia, Mourning Adeline and Harriet Ann Justina. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 82 on April 9th, 1906 in ?.1 -
