Meshack Meadows 
Meshack was born on February 8th, 1849 in Tazewell County,VA. Meshack's father was Drewey Haston Meadows and his mother was Rebecca Ratliff. His maternal grandparents were Richard Ratliff and Lydia Ratliff. He had six brothers and a sister, named Shadrick, Frances, Parris, Benjamin, John, Richard H and Lydia Jane. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 76 on April 5th, 1925 in Washington County,VA.-
