John Ratliff 
John was born in 1782 in Augusta County,Virginia. John's father was William (Reuben) Ratclyffe and his mother was Elizabeth Harrison. His paternal grandparents were Robert Wilson and Jane Radclyffe; his maternal grandparents were William Harrison and Margaret Maupin. He was an only child. He died at the age of 53 in 1835 in Jackson County,Mississippi.General Notes
