Her paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey; her maternal grandparents were George Wiseman and Elizabeth Baugh. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Andrew J., Samuel William, Jacob Woodard, Cassinda, America Jane, Rebecca, Malinda, Susannah and Margarette. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 86 on February 16th, 1933 in Harrodsburg, Monroe, Indiana. She was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Indiana.-
