Jacob Zike 
Jacob was born on March 22nd, 1805 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. Jacob's father was Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and his mother was Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, David, Jacob, Joseph, William Allen, Susannah, Sarah and Esther. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 70 on February 17th, 1876 in Lawrence County, Indiana. He was buried in February 1876 in Zike Family Cemetery, W. Clearsprings, Lawrence, Indiana.
Jacob and Mary Dianna were married in a religious ceremony on February 22nd, 1828 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. They had three sons and seven daughters, named Andrew J., Samuel William, Jacob Woodard, Cassinda, America Jane, Rebecca, Malinda, Lucindia, Susannah and Margarette.
