John Zike 
John was born in 1784 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. John's father was Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and his mother was Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had five brothers and three sisters, named David, Jacob, Joseph, William Allen, Jacob, Susannah, Sarah and Esther. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died before 1850 in Clearsprings, Jackson, Indiana.
John and Susannah were married in a religious ceremony in 1814 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. They had seven sons and three daughters, named Jacob, David, James, Henry, John, William, Isaac, Mary Ann, Matilda and Hester Ann.

Jacob Zike
Jacob was born in 1814 in Jassamine County, Kentucky. He died in W. Clearsprings, Lawrence, Indiana. He was buried in Zike Family Cemetery.
David Zike
David was born on March 30th, 1815 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. He died at the age of 79 on June 4th, 1894 in Cumberland County, Illinois.
Matilda Zike
Matilda was born in 1823 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. She died at the age of 45 in 1868 in Lawrence Co./Monroe Co., Indiana (on county line). She was buried in Zike Cemetery.
Henry Zike
Henry was born on March 19th, 1826 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. He died at the age of 45 on May 19th, 1871 in Indiana.
John Zike
John was born on March 5th, 1828 in Indiana. He died at the age of 66 on October 4th, 1894 in Morgan County, Indiana.
William Zike
William was born on September 15th, 1835 in Freetown, Jackson County, Indiana. He died at the age of 78 on September 7th, 1914 in Arispa, Union, Iowa.
Isaac Zike
Isaac was born in 1843 in Jackson County, Indiana. He died at the age of 19 on March 9th, 1862 in Belmont Hospital, Kentucky.
