James Zike 
James was born in 1820 in Kentucky. James' father was John Zike and his mother was Susannah Smith. His paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, David, Henry, John, William, Isaac, Mary Ann, Matilda and Hester Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died after 1874.-
