Wendell Marshall Wampler 
Wendell Marshall was born on February 12th, 1914 in Monroe County, Indiana. Wendell Marshall's father was Aaron Wampler and his mother was Rosezetta Frances Shields. His paternal grandparents were John W. Wampler and Delcena Vaught; his maternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Mary Jane Heltonburg. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Ray, Richard Leon, John Lee, James W., Lucille Mildred, Viola Pearl, Sally Laverne, Wilma Jean, Georgie Bernice and Mary Jo. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 66 on September 2nd, 1980 in Texas. He was buried in Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.General Notes
