Roy E. was born on May 14th, 1923. Roy E.'s father was Ralph McGlothlin and his mother was Helen Watson. His paternal grandparents were Samuel W. McGlothlin and Mary Jane Moore; his maternal grandparents were George W. Watson and Katie Deckard. He had three brothers named Wayne, H. Gayle and Ralph Jr.. He was the second oldest of the four children. He was buried in Clover Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, Indiana.-
