Thomas Peniston Masterson 
Thomas Peniston was born in 1827. Thomas Peniston's father was Wesley Poythress Masterson and his mother was Catherine C. Abbett. His paternal grandparents were Richard Masterson and Sarah Shore; his maternal grandparents were Dennis Abbett and Mary ?. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Dennis, Jesse Holman, Mary C., Sarah Eleanor and Eliza Jane. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 in 1907.-
