Dennis Masterson 
Dennis was born in 1819 in Carrollton, Carroll Co., Kentucky. Dennis' father was Wesley Poythress Masterson and his mother was Catherine C. Abbett. His paternal grandparents were Richard Masterson and Sarah Shore; his maternal grandparents were Dennis Abbett and Mary ?. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Thomas Peniston, Jesse Holman, Mary C., Sarah Eleanor and Eliza Jane. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 47 in 1866.-
