Richard Masterson 
Richard was born in 1817. Richard's father was Wesley Poythress Masterson and his mother was Catherine C. Abbett. His paternal grandparents were Richard Masterson and Sarah Shore; his maternal grandparents were Dennis Abbett and Mary ?. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Dennis, Thomas Peniston, Jesse Holman, Mary C., Sarah Eleanor and Eliza Jane. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 87 in 1904.-
