Stella Esther Dowling 
Stella Esther was born on May 19th, 1899 in Lawrence County, Indiana. Stella Esther's father was Jesse Dowling and her mother was Nancy Malinda Zike. Her paternal grandparents were James Dowling and Ann Reynolds; her maternal grandparents were Andrew J. Zike and Martha L. Moore. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Odis, William Franklin, John Arthur, Martha Ann, Mary Alice, Ethel Nola and Ruby M.. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 41 on January 7th, 1941. She was buried in Ikerd Cemetery, East of Bedford, Lawrence, Indiana.-
