John Leander Chitwood 
John Leander was born on April 2nd, 1859. John Leander's father was Emanuel Chitwood and his mother was Eliza Jane Cox. His paternal grandparents were David Chitwood and Sarah Richardson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Milton, James Marion, Nathaniel D., George W., Levina, Elmira E., Francis A. and Minnie F.. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
