Sarah Cowan 
Sarah was born on February 27th, 1778 in Sevier Co., Tennessee. She died at the age of 69 on March 14th, 1847 in Winfield, Scott Co., Tennessee.
Sarah and Pleasant were married in a religious ceremony on September 28th, 1797 in Tennessee. They had nine sons and three daughters, named James, William, David, John, Daniel, Hugh, Isaac Shelby, Andrew, Pleasant, Nancy, Polly and Sophronia.

David was born on March 20th, 1805 in Scott Co., Tennessee. He died at the age of 45 on April 26th, 1850 in Monroe County, Indiana.
