Wilson Cary Whitaker 
Wilson Cary was born on November 30th, 1789 in , , NC. Wilson Cary's father was John Whitaker and his mother was Christian Benton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Whitaker and Elizabeth Cary; his maternal grandfather was Absalom Benton. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Eli Benton, James, Richard, John, Cary, Absalom Benton, Elizabeth, Martha and Margaret Green. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 61 on February 23rd, 1851.-
