Elizabeth Whitaker 
Elizabeth was born on June 29th, 1775 in , Halifax, NC. Elizabeth's father was John Whitaker and her mother was Christian Benton. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Whitaker and Elizabeth Cary; her maternal grandfather was Absalom Benton. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Eli Benton, James, Richard, John, Cary, Absalom Benton, Wilson Cary, Martha and Margaret Green. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 60 on August 29th, 1835.-
