Mary E. Spicer 
Mary E. was born about 1851 in , Of Wayne, Illinois. Mary E.'s father was Joseph S. Spicer and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Daily. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Spicer and Mary Catherine Darner; her maternal grandparents were John Daily and Lillitta. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas F., William E., Franklin, Logan, Samuel, Elnora Jane, Catherine Elizabeth and Naomi Frances. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died on April 4th, 1866 in , Wayne, Illinois. She was buried in Hale Cemetary, Wayne, Illinois.-
