Amos Anderson was born on March 9th, 1904 in , , Tennessee. Amos Anderson's father was William Harve Price and his mother was Martha Jane Manis. His paternal grandparents were William James Price and Sarah Jane Forrester; his maternal grandparents were Malin A. Manis and Sarah Elizabeth Hilton. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Milum Jackson, Guy P., Elmer Basil, Jimmie Thomas, Albert Miller, Mary Parolee, Stella J., Lonley Effie, Sarah Elizabeth, Susan Viola, Dinah Mae and Vangie Pauline. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 87 on July 30th, 1991.-
