Dykes 
Dykes was born about 1820. Dykes' father was William Dykes and her mother was Jennie Gallemore. Her paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Susannah Lankford. She had three brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Andrew Jackson, John, Clabourn, Sarah, Mahala, Anna, Elizabeth, Molly, Martha, Susan Amanda, Dykes and Dykes. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.
