William Dykes

William was born in 1788 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee.  William's father was William Dykes and his mother was Susannah Lankford.  His paternal grandparents were John Dykes and Judith Lewis. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Netherland, Isham, James, John, Mary, Priscilla, Sarah and Anna.  He was the youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 74 on July 27th, 1862 in Phelps Co., Missouri.
