Reuben Blessing 
Reuben was born on March 17th, 1800 in Shenandoah Co., VA. Reuben's father was John Blessing and his mother was Clarissa Elizabeth Skeen. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. He had six brothers and a sister, named Abraham, Marcus, John, Isaac, Amos, Joseph Josiah and Catherine. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 on August 22nd, 1872 in Benton County, Indiana.-
