Marcus Blessing 
Marcus was born on July 20th, 1807 in Shenandoah Co., VA. Marcus' father was John Blessing and his mother was Clarissa Elizabeth Skeen. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. He had six brothers and a sister, named Reuben, Abraham, John, Isaac, Amos, Joseph Josiah and Catherine. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 on October 9th, 1863 in Greene County, Ohio.-
