Catherine Blessing 
Catherine was born in 1819 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Catherine's father was John Blessing and her mother was Clarissa Elizabeth Skeen. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. She had seven brothers named Reuben, Abraham, Marcus, John, Isaac, Amos and Joseph Josiah. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
