Philip Blessing 
Philip was born about 1835 in Washington County, Virginia. Philip's father was Jacob Blessing. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William J., Jacob, David, Elizabeth, Susannah and Nancy Anne. He was the youngest of the seven children. Philip is no longer alive.-
