Jacob Blessing 
Jacob was born about 1833 in Washington County, Virginia. Jacob's father was Jacob Blessing. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William J., David, Philip, Elizabeth, Susannah and Nancy Anne. He was the third youngest of the seven children. Jacob is no longer alive.-
