David Blessing 
David was born about 1834 in Washington County, Virginia. David's father was Jacob Blessing. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William J., Jacob, Philip, Elizabeth, Susannah and Nancy Anne. He was the second youngest of the seven children. David is no longer alive.-
