Rachel Johanna van Blerk (Breytenbach) 
Rachel Johanna was born on April 12th, 1887 in Cape Town. Rachel Johanna's father was Jacobus Adrijan Rozier van Blerk and her mother was Rachel Johanna Zeeman (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Simon Petrus van Blerk and Jacomina Hendrina Louw (van Blerk); her maternal grandparents were Pieter Zeeman and Rachel (Zeeman). She had six brothers and five sisters, named Simon Petrus, Pieter Gerhadus Louw, Jacobus Adriaan Rozier, Johannes, Jan Albertus, Gabriel, Jacomina Hendrina, Johanna Petronella, Hester Jacoba, Christina Koth-Thomsen and Maria Susanna. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 65 on January 27th, 1953. She was buried in Tweeling, Main cemetery.General Notes
