Isaak Christiaan was born on March 26th, 1856 in Paarl. Isaak Christiaan's father was Albertus Daniel Johannes van Blerk and his mother was Margaretha Magdalena Nieuwoudt (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Johannes Petrus van Blerk and Geertruida Elizabeth Louw (van Blerk); his maternal grandparents were Gerrit Nieuwoudt and Gertrude (Nieuwoudt). He had five brothers and five sisters, named Johannes Pretus Isaak, Gerrit Nieuwoudt, Albertus Daniel Johannes, Jacobus Johannes, Nicolaas Willem, Magdelena Johanna, Gertruida Elizabeth, Margaritha Magdalena, Margaretha Berrendina and Aletta Hendrina Henrietta. Guilliumne Francois Marais was born in 1899 in Paarl. He died at the age of 60 on May 10th, 1959 in Simonstown. He was buried in Simonstown, Dido Valley, Common Wealth War graves and N.D.F. cemetery.
Rufus Duncan Midtford van Blerk
Rufus Duncan Midtford was born on February 26th, 1899 in Cape Town. He died at the age of 63 on May 4th, 1962.
