Robert was born on February 26th, 1555 in Semer, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place on February 26th, 1555 in Freston, Suffolk County, England.1   Robert's father was Humphrey Manning and his mother was Eunice (Ellen) Ungle.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Munning and Lady Barker. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Christopher, William, Philippe, Humphrey, Henry, Edmund, Thomas, Agnes, Margaret, Ellen, Johan and Elizabeth.  He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 23 in 1578 in Suffolk County, England.1
