Humphrey was born on October 21st, 1562 in Semer, Brettenham, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place on October 21st, 1562 in Freston, Suffolk County, England.1   Humphrey's father was Humphrey Manning and his mother was Eunice (Ellen) Ungle.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Munning and Lady Barker. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Christopher, Robert, William, Philippe, Henry, Edmund, Thomas, Agnes, Margaret, Ellen, Johan and Elizabeth.  He was the eighth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 61 on October 5th, 1624 in Brettenham, Suffolk County, England.  He was buried on July 4th, 1625 in Brettenham, Suffolk County, England.1 1
