Henry was born on March 23rd, 1565 in Semer, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place there on March 23rd, 1565.1   Henry's father was Humphrey Manning and his mother was Eunice (Ellen) Ungle.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Munning and Lady Barker. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Christopher, Robert, William, Philippe, Humphrey, Edmund, Thomas, Agnes, Margaret, Ellen, Johan and Elizabeth.  He was the nineth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 59 in 1624 in Suffolk County, England.
