Sophia Jenness Foye

Sophia was born on March 20th, 1839. Sophia's father was Nathaniel Graves Foye and her mother was Martha Locke Dow. Her paternal grandparents are John Foye and Elizabeth Seavey; her maternal grandparents were James Dow and Mary Parsons. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Orion, James, John, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth, Martha, Fidelia, Ellen and Sarah. She was the tenth oldest of the eleven children.
