Harrison Dow (William H.)

Harrison's father was Jonathan Dow and his mother was Joanna Gilman. His paternal grandfather was John Dow and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents are Samuel Gilman and Alice Gilman. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Winslow, Darius, Joanna, Mary and Elsie. He died on January 4th, 1902.

General Notes
- His death record gives his date of birth as December 8, 1819 in Gilmanton, New Hampshire. Probably an error. Harrison may have been the youngest child. A land assessment of 1850 is $300. He was a Civil War veteran. He was a resident of Walden, Vermont from 1857 to 1858. He was a resident of Coventry, Vermont in 1860 and a resident of Manchester, New Hampshire several years later.
