George Freeman Dow

George was born on February 29th, 1828. George's father was Alexander Dow and his mother was Sarah Mason. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Dow and Mary Black. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named Henry, James, Jonathan, Leroy, Katherine, Eliza, Sarah, Amanda, Celia, Mary, Harriet and Clara. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children.
