William Stacy Burce

William was born on February 21st, 1849 in Industry, Maine. William's father was Silas Bearse and his mother was Rachel Oliver. His maternal grandparents were James Beale Oliver and Jane Spinney. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Rufus, John, Stacy, Leander, Charles, James, Lydia, Dorcas, Mary and Amelia. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 85 on January 20th, 1935 in Janesville, Minnesota.
