John Calvin Burce

John was born on June 26th, 1834 in Starks, Maine. John's father was Silas Bearse and his mother was Rachel Oliver. His maternal grandparents were James Beale Oliver and Jane Spinney. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Rufus, Stacy, Leander, Charles, James, William, Lydia, Dorcas, Mary and Amelia. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 30 on November 4th, 1864 in Pennsylvania.
