Margaret Laing

Margaret was born in 1828 in Duffus, Elginshire. Margaret's father was John Laing and her mother was Elspet Cobban. Her paternal grandparents were John Laing and Margaret Junkin; her maternal grandparents were John (Ernest) Cobban and Elspeth Sandison. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, William, James and Elspet. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 31 in 1859 in Duffus, Elginshire.
