Sándor Jószef Körtvélyesi

Sándor was born in March 1858 in Szabadka and his baptism took place there on March 18th, 1858.¹   Sándor's father was András Körtvélyesy and his mother was Erzsébet Beringer.  His paternal grandparents were Antal Körtvélyesi and Rozália Balázs. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Béla, Antal, Károly, Mária and Erzsébet.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
