Mária Körtvélyessy

Mária was born on September 10th, 1855 in Szabadka.¹   Mária's father was András Körtvélyesy and her mother was Erzsébet Beringer.  Her paternal grandparents were Antal Körtvélyesi and Rozália Balázs. She had four brothers and a sister, named Béla, Antal, Sándor, Károly and Erzsébet.  She was the third oldest of the six children.
