Mária Körtvélyesi

Mária was born on March 31st, 1871 in Halászi.¹   Mária's father was József Körtvélyesi and her mother was Erzsébet Cziniel.  Her paternal grandparents were Vendel Körtvélyesi and Borbála Heveder. She had five brothers and a sister, named László, József, János, Ferenc, János and Rozália.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died whilst giving birth, elvérzés, at the age of 40 on April 28th, 1911 in Halászi.²
