József Körtvélyesi

József was born on February 27th, 1846.  József's father was Vendel Körtvélyesi and his mother was Borbála Heveder.  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Körtvélyesi and Mária Barbély. He had five brothers and four sisters, named László, János, Ferenc, Sándor, Alexandra, Teréz, Katalin, Anna and Rozália.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 35 on February 14th, 1882 in Halászi.¹
