Pál was born on January 28th, 1895 in Várkony Borsod vm.¹

Pál's father was Pál Körtvélyesi and his mother was Anna Restás?.  His paternal grandparents were Albert Körtve and Terézia Vitko. He had five brothers and a sister, named Kálmán, József, Pál, Bertalan, Béla and Margit.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at 5 months old on July 26th, 1895 in Várkony Borsod vm.²
